King Crow

King Crow was commissioned by Melissa Rodman, owner of The Crow’s Roost in downtown Coupeville. It is an all metal sculpture (except for its stone eyes). To make up its exterior the rebar framework is clad with more than 40 hand cut and shaped panels of repurposed roofing tin from a 1931 barn on Crocket Lake. It has beach rocks for eyes and is adorned with a crown made from the top of an old brass lamp. It is 2 feet tall by 5 feet long.
