Praying Mantis

This metal sculpture was commissioned by a local couple who wanted a piece for the entry to their driveway. Inspiration came while they were visiting my shop. They originally gave me cart blanche on the piece but after spotting a praying mantis on a piece of wood out behind the shop, they said “make us one of those”! Bracket is 4 feet long. Mantis is approx. 2 feet long.
